Today I wanted to post some pictures of our beautiful facility that I get to practice in each day. Our facility has ample space to provide quality therapy interventions, while keeping your privacy in mind. We have a large gym area and smaller private rooms that allow you and your therapist to work one on one together. Having a facility of this nature allows us to treat patients with a variety of needs. We are able to challenge the athlete and the patient needing to return to a physically demanding job. We are also able to gradually progress those who have been inactive and deconditioned secondary to injury and return them to a more functional and fulfilling life. Together, you and your therapist will create goals and a treatment plan that will help you live with less pain, and more freedom to participate in activities whether at work or play.

South Jersey Rehabilitation Center

Hello, my name is Chad Durboraw PT, OCS and director of a new out-patient rehabilitation center in Marlton, NJ. We opened for business on July 17, 2008. I am starting this blog to provide consumers and other healthcare providers in our area information on the services provided here.

First a little introduction from me:

I graduated from Richard Stockton College of NJ with a Master's degree in Physical Therapy in 2000. I went on to work for a few corporate out-patient physical therapy offices in Burlington County. Although I grew substantially as a clinician over the years working with a great number of good therapists, I always felt very rushed and unable to give patients all they needed in the busy corporate enviroment. I continued to advance my knowledge in the area of orthopedic physical therapy and became a board certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy in 2005. I then took a position as a staff therapist for a private practice physical therapist to learn more about the business aspect of our profession. I gained valuable insight into the day to day struggles of our profession on a legislative front as well as from the reimbursement side.

Now I am the director of South Jersey Rehabilitation Center. It is an out-patient physical therapy clinic that prides itself on quality, evidence based treatment approaches to restore patients back to a healthy, painfree lifestyle.
